* Texas Fiddle Legend Jesse Mears plays many fiddle favorites on this CD such as Sally Goodin, Tom and Jerry, Cattle in the Cane and Sally Johnson along with the old time waltzes, rags and polkas.

* Mears is a native of Alvarado, Texas and was inducted in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Association in 2004. He has participated in numerous fiddle competitions including the Hallettsville Fiddlers' Frolic as well as contests in Athens, Alvarado, Bowie, Crockett, Conroe, Nacogdoches, Groesbeck, Glen Rose, Gatesville and Buffalo.
